Videogame retail established a new record for the October month, with an annual spending of 4,4 billion. By comparison to last year’s hardware dollar sales increased by 82 percent. In addition, annual hardware expenditure has increased by 53 percent a year in the past. What software does not matter most, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 was the best-selling game of October. It has now become the eighth best-selling game of 2021, climbed to the top of both PlayStation and Xbox software charts. Left 4 Dead inspired Back 4 Blood, was the month’s second best-selling game, making it a second-place spot on both consoles’ software charts. Nintendo switched’s highly anticipated Metroid Dread followed by the third. New York Times debuted at 7 o’clock, The Mario Party Superstars debuted at 8 o’clock and the NHL 22 became the ninth spot. Last but not least, accessories sales also increased, reaching 158 million dollars, five percent higher year-on-year. The annual accessory sales have reached 1,9 billion dollars, making a 9 percent jump compared to last year’s lowest price.The Xbox Elite Series 2, a wireless controller, was the best-selling accessory by 2021.
