Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX (29.99 dollars)
I can’t say that I wanted that these games to be comeback in 2021. But why not? The late 1990s were full of games about raising, training and fighting monsters thanks to the double-punch success of Tamagotchi and Pokemon. Most of them landed on handhelds, but some people lived happily on home consoles. On the PlayStation, Digimon looked like the most popular. But if there was a second place, Monster Rancher was probably it. The series ran by end until Nintendo DS era, and it had even been very popular for two or three years. Two years ago, Koei Tecmo developed the first two games and launched them in Japan for smartphones and the Nintendo Switch. These games were localized for the Western market now. The most important changes are the graphical or the UI, with sharper polygons, better text on more crisp page tops etc. There’s also a new speed-up option that some players find useful and a new system to replace the old CD-style mechanism that original games used to spawn monsters. There’s a database that you can search for albums. Although, in fact, you can barely put a CD in the drive so you don’t have an amazing choice in the selection. I’m going to explain some things for those who have never played these games before. While you might be imagining something like Pokemon, it appears to be more like an advanced form of Tamagotchi. You can’t come to an incredible adventure, there’s not much a story at all, and instead of trying to collect everyone your kind of monster, you’re going to be focused on trying to get the best possible one. You’ll actually start with just a monster. Raise it and train it well, win against enemies to increase grading and gain a grade, and try to keep it happy and healthy. We set a mood for the next event, so that we can be rewarded with cash and win for the next events. You must build a loyalty so that you’re listening to your battle, raise your stats to find a chance against its opponents, and keep you satisfied. In the conflict, you may either let the monster go on its own or try to control it directly. Be careful, though. You’ll be wrong: your monster gets defeated, but it will hurt you as well. Those monsters also have lifespans, so will not be your first one. As you gain rank, you can lose some monsters at once. You are trying to win, but after that, the game just keeps going. The second game can a bit expand with the first, but in general you get a similar experience from both of them. The name indicates that Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX is more about breeding, training and raising monsters than anything else. The mechanics of both games are really deep and fun to explore, but you don’t need much advice about most of them. But don’t expect a full-on RPG or even much of a narrative at all. These animals are virtual animals, breeding sims, with a battle element to keep everything spicy. You’re pretty good at that, but these are very good versions of them. The kind of weird thing we saw a lot during the PlayStation days and that will have new fans here and now. SwitchArcade Scores are 3/5.
The track record is 14.99 dollars.
I can get mad for an idle game quite easily, but I don’t like doing it right now. Sure, every game is basically slapping buttons, clicking or tapping to make the emotions flow. Even though I’m a tame playmaker, I’m not afraid of being exposed to this simple animal. Loop Hero is in many ways an idle game, but it adds to the notion that I don’t feel much like enjoying it. You’ve got a hero (of a class of your choosing) and a loop. The hero is trying to chase away any friend who’s coming on the trail. This battle plays out automatically, and rewards you with many items, resources or cards. You can get the goods, right? And, as you may imagine, the resources are used for the crafting. Well, building and building buildings at your base camp. In the cards, that’s where one of the most interesting twists come in. They can be placed either on the map or on the loop, or in space around it. The ability of each card will be more effective. Both of these will help you or make it hard to go in the next loop. Some have both. All completes this loop allow you to retreat to your camp without breaking the new map or the previous map. Please take one more lap, but you should be careful, since the points aren’t huge enough to collect the money. As soon as you get the better you can, no story won’t come out. This is a little fascinating, because of a world of nothing slowly coming back into existence, and the snippets of the old people are never intrusive. The better you play, the better the mechanics get to know. It’s an enjoyable game to spend a little time with, but it’s also impressive enough to blow hours. Yes, sometimes it’s a bit insolent. The text can be very difficult to read if you play a handheld game. I had trouble finding a lot to criticize with this game. The game is harder to put down, but with enough meat to make it feel like your input will really matter. It’s the type of game that has something to offer no matter how much or how much time you have to throw at it, and one that will probably keep you coming back all over again. While the most difficult of matters is, it is definitely engaging and full of surprises to keep your interest alive on the long haul. SwitchArcade score: 4,5/5.
There is no stray for superimpossible (49,99 dollars)
It doesn’t get much easier than that, but it also doesn’t get much harder. Well, it’s all right in the title, isn’t it? You steer a quick ball along the precarious and windy tracks, and cutting the occasional corner on purpose or otherwise. You can move left and right, and you can get up a bit more easily if your meter has a juice. If you fly too far, you can hit a button. Don’t worry, checkpoints are pretty busy. Close, but sometimes very far. The game does a lot to give players some more freedom to do within its humble framework. There are a full campaign mode where you will perform many races, stunts and other varies on a wide array of courses. There’s a special daily track where you can take on other players online so you can see who can complete that faster. Speaking of players online, you can also play teams. Don’t you want to do something old-fashioned? There are four players in the race mode. There are also multiple mode types that require the person who has exhausted everything else or who just wants to kill a few minutes. I don’t have to say too much about Super Impossible Road. Everyone laid down their cards quickly and then a lot of money is being asked to keep up. It’s stylish and fun, and has lots of gameplay modes to enjoy with yourself or as a player. This version is worth more than the Apple Arcade counterpart. I think if you enjoy these intensely challenging arcade experiences, you’ll still be happy here. Score of SwitchArcade: 5/5.
Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space (199.99)
That’s what Skunkape Games did for Sam & Max Save the World, and as a result of this fantastic ad was posted for all modern platforms. This is the first of three seasons, who came out around ten years ago by Telltale Games. I think I’ll certainly have the least-coveted talent of the trio. Now, it’s not as satire as Saves the World and it’s very finely refined as The Devils Playhouse. So, that’s a game that can lose two of these two and still merits playing. It is the start of the Walking Dead, and is an homage to the game Telltale. The entire story is divided into five episodes. One can see how this story came into focus. I recommend mingling them one or four times more than trying to kill them a bit, but you can do whatever you want. Every episode has a tendency for Sam and Max to solve a variety of problems and problems in their own absurd and often destructive way. Sometimes that’s talking, sometimes it’s a task, sometimes it’s a bit more complicated than a game. It’s always funny or funny. This remaster follows Charles and Max, who are attempting to save the world. The view is updated, and it is improved, with wide-screen support and some adjustments to lighting and character models. The audio was seen as a boost of quality, and the voice acting looked a lot better. Boscos voice was replaced by his new voice actor, but no of his lines have been rewritten at that time, where there was a problem with him. The decal system has gotten changed so you don’t have to collect everything if you’re going to miss some decals, only a few times. It also has new songs. The Sam & Max adventure games are always enjoyable and fun to play through, and the Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is not a exception. Skunkape Games has done a great job making it easier for the modern age to play that sport. If you told me this was completely new, I’d probably believe him. The Devils playhouse probably is next, so I’m sure looking forward to it. For now, I will happily be enjoying this wonderful master of a funny, enjoyable romp. SwitchArcade Score – 4/5.
New Releases
Shovel Knight’s Pocket Dungeon (19,99 $)
SwitchArcade Highlight! Hey, it’s a new Shovel Knight. This puzzle is not a puzzle with some odd elements, but it looks odd, not yet a whole thing. Does this work? I wish I could say, but I don’t have a chance to play this one yet. In spite of that, I trust lots in the Yacht Club Games, and they trust Vine, the developer. I will see the result more than anything. In the bullet points you get a lot of playable characters, tons of equipment to collect and equip, and a lot of different modes that include a two-player competition and support for the shoevel Knights Amiibo figures.
My Universe: The Doctors & the Nurses ($24,99)
In this latest installment of the My Universe series, you’re a new recruit at a hospital. Get to know some other teams, care your patients via minigames, and try to keep the pace with your rival. Generally speaking, it seems that this was followed by the other games in the line. If you liked any of them and like the hospital theme, you might want to look at it just a little more closely.
