“We’re excited to welcome Roll7 to the private division,” said Michael Worosz, executive vice-président and head of the private division, as part of the announcement. As a team passionate about sport, seeing how Roll7 uses the thrill of competition with the flow-state of a videogame is remarkable, and we can’t wait to show this phenomenon this winter with Olli World release. We’re excited to welcome @Roll_7 to the Private Division. Private Division (@PrivateDivision) November 15, 2021 Roll7 was founded in 2008 by Simon Bennett, John Ribbins and Tom Hegarty. Although it has worked on several other games, as it is already noted, it’s most popular with the Olli team. The first title, OlliOlli, was released in 2013 while OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood was released in 2015. Both titles have been offered on various platforms since then, but I expect that OlliOlli World is the first new franchise in a few years. “Private Division has been a great publishing partner for OlliOlli World, and we’re excited to continue to grow as a studio,” said Simon Bennett, CEO of Roll7. “Private Division has helped our incredible team to raise the bar of our creativity and scope for OlliOlli world. Joining the label makes us a great leader in the development of videogames. As noted earlier, Take-Two Interactive publishing label Private Division has acquired OlliOlli world developer Roll 7. The contract hasn’t been revealed. I guess OlliOlli World could be launched this winter for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox V series, Xbox V1, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, no exact date for the release has been announced. You can read all our previous reports here about Division Two. What do you think about acquiring Roll7?
