PS3 owners will eventually play the Avengers game as Spider-Man at the end of November. Since the announcement has been more than a year, but now readers know when the wisecracking webslinger, Spider-Man, will become a playable character for Marvels. According to the official website, he will arrive in November 30 on November 30th, end of month, as part of Patch 2.2, which also includes a new raid on sonic supervillain Klaw and some new game systems and reworks. Unfortunately, there is no movie of Spider-Man, or even any movie trailer. Yet Crystal Dynamics has at least explained what Spider-Man is supposed to be doing when he shows up. The Spider-Man story involves trying to plot another AIM plot. But while he is doing the same thing with the Avengers, he needs to adapt to a group after having been solo for so long. Then Hell stay a secret and Crystal Dynamics teasing new friendships with Marvel and Black Widow, with a key plot point being whether Spidey is going to join the Avengers full time or not. Contrary to previous expansions, Spider-Mans will feature on a series of unlockable missions that can be accessed through the Avengers Project post-campaign. There’s no clue what Spidey is going to look like in the game (pic: Square Enix) yet. As a reminder, Spider-Man is only available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, and there isn’t any plan to get him to the Xbox, PC or Stadia versions. As for any other games, the patch will raise the power level of the power (which will be determined by what gear you have). From 150 to 175, the full power level will be increased from 175 to 175. Crystal Dynamics encourages players to join the Klaw raid, which combines the toughest challenge in the game, if they want a best gear. The patch will also introduce shipments, which are a new means of earning items and cosmetics through gameplay. They can only be purchased with units (the currency used in the game, which is essentially earned by playing games) and are basically loot boxes since everything you got is totally random, with some people allowing to see their contents before purchasing. In addition to Spider-Mans, a number of players likely won’t be successful, given the character popularity (at least on PlayStation), but the long-term future of Avengers isn’t looking particularly good, especially now that Square Enix has admitted to a disappointment for them. The Marvels Spider-Man can be found for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox 5 and Stadia.
