Audio player loads. The Anacrusis began in the 1970s, under the banner of their new studio, Bombay. Six months later, we have a release date and it’s close to the 13th of January 2022. The title of the big day was published in a new Anacrus developer blog, in which sympriot’s director Will Smith assured fans the date is a very strong one. “I wanted to see that we only had to say once,” Smith said. We wanted to make sure nothing can stop us at this point. The path is clear, the runway is open, the grass is green, and a field is wide. I don’t know what metaphors we used here anymore, but the game is going to start on January 13th. The Anacrusis is going to begin “early access” format, said Chet Faliszek, co-founder of Stray Bombay: “We want to play a role in this endeavour with the community, and not just react to bugs and stuff like that. We’ll change the game for the community in meaningful ways.” It will be a “really odd early access”, said Faliszek. Apart from the usual bug fixes and new content, there will also be weekly challenges, “meta progression” and more conceptual elements that players can try out. “So you’re like me, it really sucks me out of this three thing, maybe it’s a huge leap of the past, so you can unlock all these different skins and stuff and you can save a great deal of money,” said him. “We want to put a representative idea of all the things that will be in the game we see now in there and start to get your feedback, and then maybe we’ll add more stuff based on your feedback.” The Anacrusis is going to support crossplay across all storefronts,Steam, Epic, and Microsoft on PC and the console versions, too. It also will be on Xbox One Pass, which is quite commonly known now, if you missed it, as PC Player Pass. To learn more about what’s happening, check out the preview.
