I wrote in January that the Assassins Creed Valhalla was too long and that was before the release of two whole expansions for it over the course of this year. Now the game is going to get another one, as well as some missions for its predecessor Assassins Creed Odyssey. For me, even though I am a very serious and longtime fan of this series, this is all too much! I finished the expansion of Valhallas Ireland with patience and landed on the Paris one a few missions because I had pure control over the game. And of the entire Ubisoft Formula, I am, honestly, really, because I bounced off Far Cry six and I’m even savagely dealing with Halo: Infinite, I also struggle with the Infinite project, since it used to be a huge master for that same task to take on the map open world game design. The prospect of playing any Assassins Creed Valhalla at all in 2022 sounds very real for me, so when you realise that expansion called Dawn of Ragnarok is very focused on the Asgard map, it’s the worst part of the game as well. Yeah, it’s a good trailer! And I know that, again, its going to big lengths to show a certain set of gameplay features: the aforementioned games: “Turty’s not a thing of all kind and not all that interesting”. More interesting, perhaps, the simultaneous announcement of Crossover Stories, which adds new missions to Valhalla and Odyssey, and us a trailer which looks like you’ve got some Deviantart fan art to life. The Crossover Stories missions will take off on December 14 and are free downloads, while Ragnarok is a much bigger expansionUbisoft says its largest expansion has already come to Mars. I know I mean something about Valhalla, but, to end this with a more positive note, it’ll probably be nice to sink back into the Mediterranean and meet Kassandra again.
