The Englishman started playing content because he didn’t find a place on the roster for the 2020 season. However, this career was short-lived, since Zed now is the new Boston CDL owner. Oxygen Esports announced that former professional Denholm Denz Taylor would be joining Boston as its general manager. There is not yet a word on the official roster for Boston. Although their team names could be seen in a recent Twitter video from Oxygen Esports.
Zed joins Boston as coach.
Welcome to the Head Coach for our new Boston team @CODLeague @ZachDenyer! We can’t wait to see all his efforts with the team we put together. pic.twitter.com/uk1BoMNe/, e.g. Oxygen sports (@OXG) December 16, 2021. Zed had a really bad time last few years on the CDL. He spent the first half of the 2020 season with the Paris Legion, who suffered substantial losses. Zed signed with the London Royal Ravens in 2021, after being dropped by Paris. He ended the season as a substitute for his team. London ended up releasing Zed, along with a couple of other players in the summer of 2021. The following day Zed announced that he’d retire, leaving a focus more on content creation in September. His Twitch streams got some attention during CDL Rostermania, and he is active in the community since. Now it seems that he received an offer that was too good for him to pass up. Zed wrote on Twitter: I am excited to share, I will be the head coach for the CDL team for Boston. Working with Oxygen has been a breath of fresh air and I feel like building a brand. Boston is likely to announce that the team and roster is the same in the coming weeks. The official start date for the Call of Duty 2022 is Feb. 3 but kickoff weekend will also begin on Jan. 21. Boston is required to have a roster in order to coach Zed.
