Cards for celebrations. Credit: Pokemon TC

The EX team of Magma vs. the EX team of Magma’s Groudon: This portion ofCelebrationsis really interesting to me. The Pokemon TCG fell in popularity quite a bit after the Nio era, which made a long stretch of sets that were both underappreciated and underprinted. Many electronic and EX-era sets have been seeing their value increase, making them difficult to obtain cards and products with special sealed materials. I think it is an unimpressed choice, but I think the POP series Umbreon, which is unobtainable because of its price, is cheaper options. This is a beautiful card, and many of the cards chosen for the set are here because of their playability, although the original is still somewhat low in value compared to many other cards of this era. EX team Rocket Returns Rocket’s admin: This isn’t the most popular reprint choice, but I really like it a little. That is mostly due to the strong artwork. Some others are better choices for collectors (there are over $100 cards in the set), but I think this one stands up.

With this series, we will show you all of the elements ofCelebrations and their release marks by taking into account the set’s Bleeding Cool tag. Next time, Pokemon TCG: Celebrations continues with more cards from the main sections of the set.
