The new trailer for the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man dropped this weekend, and it seems like the series might take out the fans’ attention next year. During the International Jump Festa anime exhibition in Japan, a short trailer, which is the most anticipated Chainsaw Man anime, was revealed in a short clip, as well as an animated movie. The trailer is filled with trippy glitch effects, from the most iconic manga’s most brilliant panels with unnerving music, and although it doesn’t provide fans a new idea of what the anime will look like in action, e.g. – compared to the teaser version earlier in June, this trailer is still interesting because of its energy and impact. We look at the mesmerizing eyes of Makima, before a projected image of Denji mowing down goons, before smiling, before leaving into the dark. It’s the anime produced by Mappa, and is due to make its debut sometime in 2022. Since Mappas a track record and the exemplifying quality of the source material, there’s a lot of reason to get excited. Ghosts in the dark, inspired by Tatsuki Fujimoto. A mangaka created by Mashai, a poet of the world in which he is living in poverty. He survives, with his cute dog-like companion Pochita, who collects odd jobs from an insider. After a near death incident, Denji finds himself in love with the power to transform into a king-size devil, and with the use of the enigmatic and imposing Makima a handgun. While he initially wanted to touch a boob, his aspirations gradually develop as he navigates life with the newfound powers and finds his place in the supernatural realm of the Chainsaw Man. The fantasy-esque, ultraviolent manga that goes beyond gory, high-octane imagery, to an introspective coming-of-age story. There’s plenty of reason to be optimistic that all the mangas crackling energy will improve the screen, since Mappa has hit it out of the park with its anime adaptations and left it to the world top of the animation studios. The manga based on and the second-generation chainsaw Man has an internationally acclaimed source material to draw from. Since its debut in December of 2018, CSM has won the Best Manga award at The Harvey Awards in October, and the Best Shonen Manga at the 66th Shogakukan Manga Awards in January, and has been nominated for the 13th Manga Taisho awards in 2019, and ranked fourth in 2020 according to the Anime News Network. Animal fans won’t be the only ones who have good food with Mappas CSM adaptation. Manga readers are also able to study the high-octane ultraviolence and introspective character studies, known for its second arc, School Arc, when it was serialized in Shonen Jump+ in Summer 2022.
