Black Lab Games’ well-received turn-based strategy game, which was first launched in early 2015 on PC, landed on consoles. The Necrons arrive in the first quarter of 2022. Even though the Battlesector is obvious, I had a lot of fun. The video I put about to leave is in August. Most of all agree Battlesector needs new factions (actually you can play as the Blood Angel and the Tyranids only) so I’m happy to see Necrons coming on their way. For the uninitiated, the Necrons are a very ancient race in the Warhammer 4000 universe that has terrifying robot skeleton aliens. Then, not to fool the Necrons, they predate humanity, and once were the ex-lifetime servants of the old warhammer-era 40,000 star gods. The Necrons’ “awakening” after 60 years of slumber is relatively recent in the 40K timeline – and they seem pretty angry at everyone. Wrong side of the bed? The Necron Faction Pack is a paid DLC for Battlesector and has a full new roster of unique units and heroes. You can use the necrones army as a skirmish and multiplayer battle, or a new free campaign, called a “conquest-style” campaign in which the three factions fight to resign the two other factions. It takes territory, build your army and battle for the control of valuable resources that can turn the tide of war. Each playthrough is played on a procedurally generated map. You can play against the Necrons, whether you are buying Necron, or not.
