In addition, sponsors get global activation rights for FIFAe competitions. According to the release, FIFA’s new partnership model hopes to provide more options and better flexibility to companies to connect with global football, leverage the FIFA brand and support their competition. Moreover, the launch of a dedicated esports commercial vertical is reportedly part of FIFA’s effort to expand its esports and gaming footprint. It’s a business enterprise that seeks to attract new cultures and new generations to interactive and immersive entertainment worlds.
