More surprisingly, Oregon Trail was resuragized. Through the Apple Arcade, Oregon Trail was released in April 2021 by Gameloft and HarperCollins Productions, and has had about four updates since its release. Today, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this year, Gamesloft and Decca recorded Oregon Trail: Music from the Gamesloft soundtrack. This is the first offical music release by Gamesloft. This follows Gameloft’s release of a more general music soundtrack in November 2021. The music soundtrack was created by acclaimed composer Nicolas Dube. Even better, Gamesloft worked closely with Native Americans scholars to find a correct tone and instrumentation to help ensure they a proper image was added to the game’s stories that highlighted indigenous peoples, according to the original design. There are 15 tracks to listen to. Dube said the soundtrack was perfect for me. I love the release of this soundtrack, so that players can see The Oregon Trail for a while even if they haven’t played the game, Dube says. We really wanted to create something that touches upon the adventure of the trail, the pain of the difficulties and the joy and the joy of getting to Oregon, or by fording a river or in the midst of the big party. This soundtrack was very proud of, and we’re very proud of it. There might be something to learn, particularly if you want to remember those days in the Oregon Trail – if it are only for the nostilgia, but for those childhood troubles and fury.
