In its first trailer, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 introduced fans to the first of many new designs made for the upcoming sequel, and these include new things for Tails, Knuckles, Dr. Eggman and more. The trailer is a hugely successful one and opens with a young man eating a chili dog before jumping off the building to help those in need. This parallel isn’t enough to be an involuntary shoutout, but even if they aren’t, it’s actually a truly hilarious coincidence between the two wildly different properties. This makes the new novel even more exciting for all of the references and Easter Eggs that would evoke the original Sonic the Hedgehog franchises and a lot more hidden throughout the future. In order to have it released on April 8 next year, Sonic the Hedgehog is reported to be described as such following a leak from the copyright filing. “After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is ready for some freedom, and Tom and Maddie agree to leave him home while they are on vacation. As soon as they return, Dr. Robotnik, to the new partner Knuckles, has returned, for the emerald of which power is based on the power to destroy and build civilizations.
