The First UNSC Archive, entitled the Unspoken, shows how two marines confiscated alien tech for the purpose of creating the energy shield. In the second archive, Project Magnes, it is revealed that the grappling hook was created by a dedicated engineer, who spent an entire while in isolation to create it by herself. Both of these videos have a bit of bittersweetness, but both of them also have a sense of triumph and optimism. The third archive is nonetheless a more sober video. This teaser was intended for lightbringers. It shows what happened to the volunteered miners who ran a block to extract ore needed to pour some Master Chiefs exoskeleton. Unfortunately, there was a cave-in in the mines, and, according to the opening text, only the ear-sized Ore was able to get back to the surface. When trapped miners sing a song about the darkness of the darkness, bringing on the light, while painting the walls From the soil to the stars, and discussing the ore to make the Chiefs armor. It’s a beautiful photo of the Halo world, showing the human life lost and the chance to finish the fight to Master Chief.
