Trek to Yomi is launching several times in 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. There was no specific date, but it will be a day one game pass title. The release date trailer has a mix of high-intensity action and cinematic direction fueled by its narrative-driven approach and black and white visual style. The title follows a lot of inspiration from the 50’s and 60’s Japanese films. Because of this love for that culture and the era of cinema, Trek to Yomi is widely spoken in Japanese rather than in English. The cinematic interactive experience was announced early this summer. The director and writer Robert Menchiari starred in Trek to Yomi’s expansion. He is explaining the more serious direction it is compared to flying wild Hogs. Devolver Digital is acting as an illustrator, which you might know as a large portfolio, which includes games like Loop Hero, My Friend, Puntum, Katana Zero and the Killing Door.
