The Gold Dup glitch probably caused the coin transfer system to go down twice. A similar exploit has forced the developers to use the coin transfer again to disable it.

Why the New World Coin Transfer was again disabled.
A official warning from the developers indicates that when the coin transfer system’s going to come back to the game, there’s no sign of an error. It may be late until the next update or an urgent fix is available. We strongly suggest you never exploit this glitch, but with the benefit of punishment and expansion of budget and resources. The currency exchange system will be updated if anything is updated as well as if anything has been discussed already. New World can be download from Steam. The developer hasn’t shared plans for the console release.
